Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: C-2/13, Phase-2, Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II, Mayapuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110064
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in testing and quality assurance in electronics and communication systems.
Familiarity with embedded systems and electronic components testing & Documentation & Compliance.
Skills: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategies, and techniques. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, TestStand). Familiarity with testing electronic hardware components and embedded software
Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multi meters.
Responsibilities: Automation/Control Systems project background is must.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans for electronics and communication systems, ensuring they meet product requirements and industry standards.
Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify, track, and report defects during the testing phase.
Work with the development team to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Test Environment Setup: Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and communication systems for accurate testing of products. Functional & Regression Testing: Perform functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing of hardware and software components. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and defects. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and internal QA processes.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing procedures and tools to ensure high product quality.
Support and troubleshooting of PLC/SCADA for Automation projects Support for commissioning activities in the plant Follow up and responsibility for IOT incidents and issues occurred in the plants
Collaborating with other developers and engineers to ensure project Success Documenting the solutions and changesin the systems according to internal and external requirements.
