Associate DevOps Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and application deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role focuses on managing CI/CD pipelines, configuring web servers, and enabling infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Docker. You will assist in monitoring systems, performing maintenance, and ensuring secure, optimized environments. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments across web, e-commerce, and mobile platforms while contributing to efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist with cloud infrastructure setup and application deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.

● Configure and maintain web servers, ensuring secure and optimized hosting environments.

● Create, update, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.

● Support multiple project deployments including full-stack, e-commerce, and mobile platforms.

● Participate in infrastructure audits and generate health check reports to support compliance and maintenance eff orts.

● Continuously monitor system performance and take proactive measures to address anomalies or potential outages.

● Perform routine server maintenance, including OS patching, upgrades, and resource optimization.

● Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to execute daily operational tasks, respond to incidents, and support project requirements.

● Contribute to infrastructure automation tasks through scripting and tool integration.

● Stay updated with best practices in DevOps, cloud operations, and automation tooling.

Required Skills & Competencies

● Experience: 1 to 2 years in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role

● Education: Graduation in Computer Science, IT, or related fi eld (B.Tech, B.E., MCA, etc.)

● Hands-on experience or familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

● Strong understanding of web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache) and website hosting best practices.

● Practical experience with infrastructure as code is required, including Terraform.

● Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or equivalent.

● Exposure to deployment of various application frameworks including:

- Full-stack web applications
- E-commerce platforms like Magento
- Mobile app build automation (optional)

● Familiarity with infrastructure audits, health checks, and report generation.

● Basic to intermediate skills in monitoring infrastructure, identifying issues proactively, and performing routine server patching.

● Strong working knowledge of the Linux operating system, with understanding of:

- Volumes/storage
- Basic networking concepts
- Firewall rules
- System confi guration

● Scripting proficiency in at least one language (e.g., Shell, Python, or equivalent).

● Must have practical experience with at least one SQL or NoSQL database server.

● Hands-on experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.

● A fast learner who is self-motivated, eager to explore new technologies, and capable of working in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

● Working experience with AI tools like Q/Cursor or MCP is a plus.

● Familiarity with modern multi-tier architectures is a plus.

● Good to have certification in azure (AZ-104/AZ-204/AZ-900 )

● Useful to have experience working alongside development teams and providing DevOps support.

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
